In 1987, Madeline Triffon became the 6th American, the first American woman, and only the second woman in the world, to pass the Master Sommelier examination. She is a game changer within the industry who rose to the top with hard work, grace, and genuine hospitality. Today she is widely regarded as a humble leader who takes great pride in helping others succeed. Among her peers she is viewed as a world class leader, sommelier, and a true inspiration to others.
She will be interviewed by Amanda Wittstrom Higgins, Co-Founder of Wine Speak Paso Robles, VP of Operations at Ancient Peaks Winery, & Founder & President of Dream Big Darling, a non profit aimed at fostering the success of the next generation of female leaders in the wine and spirits industry.
In this session, Madeline will talk about her personal journey and share advice about lessons she has learned along the way. Listening to stories and insights from a “legned” will greatly inspire all attendees.
